Jacques Underground Saturday!

Posted in Show Announcements on January 16th, 2008 by Roach McKrackin

This Saturday, January 19th, we’ll be performing at Jacques Underground, 79 Broadway, Boston MA along with our very good friends Bad Ash and Refuse/Resist.

The shows starts at 8pm, with the first band on at 9. The cost is $10 but sorry, it’s 21+. Oh, did I mention the $10 cover includes both the bands AND the drag show upstairs? Fantastic. I’m pretty excited about this show, especially since the dudes in Bad Ash told me I didn’t have to pay ‘em, as long as they could take home a couple queens…

Benefit For The Victims of The CA Wildfires

Posted in Show Announcements on January 8th, 2008 by Roach McKrackin

This Saturday, January 12th, we’ll be playing for a great cause along with alot of other bands! Mona Von Riot has organized a Benefit Concert at Club DTS, 25 Market St, Lowell MA for the Victims of last years wildfires in California. Many people lost their homes and all of their possessions to the flames, and are just starting to rebuild, and every little bit helps, so come on down and support a great cause!

Besides ourselves, there will be a ton of bands, including Capitol Radio, Electric Donkey, Faulty Conscience, Milo’s Syndicate, Super Wicked Awesome Good Guys, The Swaggerin’ Growlers, The Vicious Bastards, Thunderhog, Too Drunk To Dance, Tribal Demise and Uncle Lefty, so don’t miss it!

The whole shindig starts around 5pm, and will be going until late. The cost is $10, of which all profit goes to the Victims of the CA Wildfires fund. It is 21+ though, sorry kids.

Studio & CD News

Posted in Studio Updates on January 8th, 2008 by Roach McKrackin

I hope everyone had a Happy New Year! We certainly did. Now that 2008 is upon us we’re buckling down and getting into the studio to record our first EP, tentatively entitled “The Mission Hill EP”. As of right now the track list is Boston Burns, Glass House, Movin’ On, C-B.S., Gravedigger and Rounders. It should be available Q2 2008, and we’re hoping to sell it for only $5 or $6. Don’t be surprised if email list subscribers get a discount or some type of special deal, so keep posted!

In the interim we’re going to release a 4 song demo we recorded over the summer. It was originally meant only for people making booking inquiries, but popular demand has dictated we put it into wide release. It’s entitled “How Many Crows?” and contains 4 of the songs from the upcoming Mission Hill EP, albeit demo versions. It should be on sale by the end of January at our shows and on our website, and will cost under $5.00!
